Are you an intern in the Ames/Story County area?
This summer, the Ames Economic Development Commission (AEDC) is hosting a variety of events just for you. These “See Yourself in Ames” events will be an opportunity for interns to better acquaint themselves with our community and area business leaders. You'll be building your connections in Ames and having fun at the same time! Join us for another FREE event on July 30 at Sauer-Danfoss. This is a special opportunity for not only interns, but the business community as well. Starting at 3:30 pm, Sauer-Danfoss will provide tours of its facilities. Participants will get an in-depth, behind the scenes tour that lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes. After the tour, all will enjoy dinner and networking. Then we’ll finish our evening with a brief presentation from Deb Malsom with Manpower. She will discuss “Managing Your Career”.
Don’t miss this chance to visit one of the community’s largest employers plus enjoy a great presentation! If you can only come for the tour or just the dinner and the presentation, that’s fine! Please feel free to join us when your schedule allows. Here’s a timetable for the event:
3:15 pm – Arrive at Sauer-Danfoss 3:30 pm – Facility tours begin 5:00 pm – 5:40 pm – Dinner and Networking 5:40 pm – 6:05 pm – “Managing Your Career” presentation with Deb Malsom from Manpower 6:05 pm – 6:30 pm – Stay to visit and network!
