(July 5, 2023 – State Center, IA) Central State Bank announced two leadership promotions. These changes, effective July 1, 2023, will strengthen the bank’s operational execution and better serve the employees and customers of Central State Bank. Chris Brinkmeyer is promoted to President where he will continue to report to Chief Executive Officer Brian Disney. In this role, Chris is charged with expanding his overall management of the bank and will lead strategic initiatives. He will also oversee the bank’s senior management team. Brinkmeyer began his career at Central State Bank in 2006 as a Vice President and Senior Lender. Chris has over 35 years of experience in banking. Sine 2015 Chris has been the Bank’s Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and served his whole career as a Banker in Central Iowa. Danielle Toyne is promoted to Chief Credit Officer and she will oversee the credit department and policies while providing approval of credit and loan policy procedures. She will also manage the credit analysts and loan administration staff. Toyne joined Central State Bank in 2007 and graduated from Buena Vista University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Throughout her tenure at Central State Bank she has been involved in the credit department as a credit analyst and most recently the Vice President – Credit Officer, while maintaining a commercial loan portfolio.
