McFarland Clinic Welcomes Chief Financial Officer

Ames, Iowa- McFarland Clinic is pleased to welcome John Munson as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Munson joins McFarland Clinic as a senior level executive with healthcare experience in business leadership and financial operations.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He was previously at St. Anthony Regional Hospital & Nursing Home in Carroll, Iowa, serving as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for the past 11 years. 

“We are excited to welcome John Munson to McFarland having had the opportunity to work with him over the years in Carroll.,” said Andrew Perry, Chief Executive Officer. “John joins us with 16 years of leadership experience and management expertise in financial and strategic planning, budget development/analysis, accounting and finance, and payer contracting.” 

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Munson will assume responsibilities for all finance, accounting and revenue cycle areas.  He will manage Clinic’s financial assets and secure financing for Clinic expenditures and facilities. 

In his new role, Mr. Munson replaces retired CFO, Jim Dohrmann, with more than 20 years of service at McFarland Clinic.
